
Brian Lutz is a former film and television talent manager who has played a critical role in creating commercial hits and franchises, including NBC’s “The Blacklist” (218 episodes), “Game Night” ($117M WW theatrical), “Neighbors” ($150M WW theatrical), “Neighbors 2” ($150M WW theatrical), “Megamind” ($330M WW theatrical)”, and “17 Again” ($136M WW theatrical).
He’s successfully co-founded two software companies: Mediachase, an E-Commerce platform, and Symbonic, an end-to-end IP-centered business system.
Born in rural Pennsylvania - moved to Los Angeles in the early 90s - a few twists and turns aside - met Vince Vaughn - became his manager, and the first movie he worked on was “Swingers.”
Over the years, Brian has represented writers, directors, producers, actors, stand-up comedians, and bands/musicians. He’s also produced two independent films: “Just Your Luck,” which starred an ensemble including Virginia Madsen, Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau, Flea, and John Lurie, and “Pink as the Day She Was Born,” a Russ Meyer-like coming-of-age musical from singer-songwriter-producer Linda Perry. He executive produced the Universal Studios comedy “Accepted,” starring Justin Long, Jonah Hill, and Black Lively.
Brian lives in La Canada, CA, with his wife, Yvonne, and son, Sullivan.
